Welcome! We are delighted that you have chosen to study with us. Here is important information for you as a new student at Konstfack.
Information about the start of the autumn semester 2026
The autumn semester begins with an introduction on 31 August and 1 September 2026. It is essential that you are present at Konstfack on these dates. Staff will be on hand to welcome you and provide important information about your studies. During the introduction, you will register in the student administration system, Ladok, and receive access to your Konstfack account.
The access card
Over the summer, you will receive an email from Nexusgroup.com with instructions on how to order your Konstfack access card. Please place your order as soon as possible to ensure that you receive your card in time for the start of the semester. Without the card, you will not be able to access Konstfack's facilities.
Mandatory registration
Registration is mandatory for all students at Konstfack. On the introduction day, 1 September, you will receive your Konstfack account and will then be able to register in Ladok.
Important: Remember to bring a valid ID or passport.

What to expect during the day
You will be welcomed by staff who will hand out materials and guide you through the process.
Checklist for the day:
- Read the provided material and sign the forms related to IT and workshop policies.
- Bring the signed forms to the designated table for student account pick-up. Show your ID/passport. You will receive an envelope with your login credentials and the Konstfack access card.
- Activate your Konstfack student account.
- Register in Ladok: student.ladok.se
- Have your photo taken.
A computer room will be open if you need help activating your student account.
Additional Information
The Student Union will be present with information and membership registration.
The Student Health Centre will introduce its services.
After about 60 minutes, programme managers and professors will gather their respective groups and provide further information about your education.
