STRATA
Research Lab CRAFT! is a freestanding course offered by the CRAFT Department at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design. The course aims to explore the role of craft and its significance in society.
The course is intended for crafts practitioners who wish to engage in artistic research by using their own practice as a method. In recent years, students enrolled in the course have, on their own initiative, produced books documenting the course and the participants' work. The group of students who attended the course in 2025/2026 exhibited their work at Platform Gallery in Stockholm in April 2026 and presented the book STRATA at Färgfabriken on 1 October of the same year.
The book is not published by Konstfack. It is an independent publication created and published by students participating in the Research Lab CRAFT! course.
