Exchange Studies (incoming)

Are you interested in studying as an Exchange student at Konstfack?

Konstfack has agreements with more than 90 partner schools around the world. This makes the atmosphere at the school very international and enriches the whole curriculum. Konstfack typically admits around 40 exchange students each year.

We welcome applications from students at our partner schools only. If you are interested in applying, please contact your home school’s International Office for details on eligibility and the application process. All applications must be submitted through your school’s International Office.

Programs open to exchange students
Our exchange opportunities are available at the undergraduate (Bachelor’s) level. The only exception is the Fine Arts program, which also admits exchange students to the second semester of the graduate (Master’s) level. For details, see our Application and Admission page.

What to expect as an exchange student
At Konstfack, students are expected to take full responsibility for their studies, engaging actively in both independent and group projects with fellow students. As an exchange student, you should be motivated, self-driven, and comfortable working independently.

Language of instruction
Courses are taught in Swedish, but instructors and students will help translate instructions into English when needed. If most students in your class are exchange students, the course language may switch to English.
