Description

Primary and Secondary Teacher in Sloyd (Metal- and Wood work) since 2006. Lecturer at Konstfack since 2016. I teach students in Sloyd Education and Sloyd teaching practice.

During 2025-2027 I am a full time PhD student affiliated to Åbo Akademi University and Konstfack.

My research interest has a focus on learning studies in sloyd education; micro-studies of manual dexterity and pupils ways of handling tools and materials during sloyd lessons. I am interested in describing aspects of what is to be known and what can be critical in craft work during lessons. Further how teachers can help pupils discerning critical aspects of particular objects of learning.
