Central is an interest in weirdness — not simply as an aesthetic, but as a method of productive disorientation that can interrupt habitual logics and invite fresh forms of imagination. Konstfack professor Patrick Lacey, together with Konstfack alumni Simon Torssell Lerin and Bettina Hvidevold Hystad, receive the designer award for the most beautiful Värmland book in 2025 from the Värmland Literature Association.
Two years after graduating from Konstfack's Bachelor programme in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design, his "Henriksberg Cabinet" has taken its place in the museum's permanent design collection.
The programme offers artists the opportunity to work in Konstfack's premises and textile workshops. The first resident is textile artist Matilda Dominique.
