An exhibition by Josef Carlborg in which painting and photography meet through an exploration of the body, memory and traces.
Photographs from journeys and encounters enter the paintings, where lived experience shifts, dissolves and partially disappears. What remains are traces of something that has happened – a body, a movement, a place – while the full story is no longer accessible.
How much do we need to feel in order to understand?
