Stockholm

Find out at four different locations across the city during 3–7 February. Future food chains, vegetation in the public realm, design focused on empathy and exploring clay.

At Konstfack Telefonplan
Will there be food in 2060? Students from the Master’s programme Design Ecologies present prototypes of future agricultural value chains, conceived to safeguard food security in a world where a 3 degree increase in global average temperature or more has become reality.

This location also showcases the latest work by students in Graphic Design and Illustration, spanning publications, typography and animation, including a collaboration with Birzeit University.
Open 4–7 February, Mon-Fri 10–16.30, Saturday 12–16.

At Sergels torg
In the very heart of Stockholm, students of Textile Design and Industrial Design present the outcomes of a project exploring how a place and its visitors can be influenced visually, artistically and through construction techniques. The work is centred on the theme of vegetation.
Open 4–7 February, Monday to Friday 12–17, Saturday 12–16.

At Etage1, Rosenlundsgatan 40
The exhibition “Write Me!” explores how furniture and spatial design can be shaped for the people who will inhabit the prisons of the future due to the extensive expansion of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, a context that demands both innovative thinking and a strong sense of empathy. Industrial design students at Konstfack, together with the SPPS and Nola show how design can contribute to wellbeing in environments where security is the primary focus.
Open 3–5 February, at 9–17. Students present the exhibition on 3 February at 4 pm.

At Moderna Dansteatern in Skeppsholmen
Clay City – an exploration of clay by graduating students in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design takes place as part of the joint project Process Material Craft, developed in collaboration with Stockholm’s two other leading design institutions, Beckmans and Malmstens.
For opening hours and more: Process, Material, Craft – studies in furniture, interiors and objects
