A day gathering exploring diverse body centric practices and their relationship to materiality.
The day consists of a morning workshop (pre registration required) with Christina Lindgren followed by open public presentations by Leif Holmstrand, Lauren Kalman, Pontus Pettersson, and Christina Lindgren. This is the first public action of an ongoing dialogue initiated between researchers at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design (matt lambert, Anna Mlasowsky), and (SKH) Stockholm University of the Arts (Martin Sonderkamp), to open a dialogue and explore the needed structures of support and care for researchers coming from diverse fields who share an interest in the entanglement of body to (other) material.
This seminar is the public portion of a longer gathering organized by Sara Kaaman, matt lambert, Anna Mlasowsky and Martin Sonderkamp that will tend a space for researchers to share their practices through presentations and embodied experiences to find connections and discuss needs and desires for the development of a commons.
