Transit Kulturinkubator

Transit was founded when Konstfack moved to Telefonplan in 2004. The initiative was taken by the of that time Rector of Konstfack, Ivar Björkman, together with the property owner Vasakronan and SSES (Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship).

The aim was, and remains, to support young creators and cultural activities. Vasakronan subsidizes the rent of the premises on Telefonplan. SSES has funded the project management until 2009.

In early 2010 Transit went into a new phase, which recreated the activity to a non-profit organization under the name Transit Kulturinkubator.
Transit Kulturinkubator continues to be an important partner for Konstfack.
