Description
The doctoral dissertation in media and commmunications from Örebro University (2018) uses a DeleuzoGuattarian framework in order to inverstigate affective processes and subjectification in spectatorship pertaining to films that appear difficult to categorize as either documentary or mockumentary. Following this a new materialist theoretical and methodological framework is suggested, a "mediamaterialist methodassemblage". This is attuned to investigate affective processes in relation to visual culture but is also reformulated as a didactic potential with the aim of developing critical medialiteracy, what is refered to as a becoming-political fo the viewing subject. Teaches at the teacher education program towards the degree of Master of Arts in Secondary and Upper Secondary Education. Focus in teaching is on moving images and learning and problematic fields related to the relation between visual texts, reality/-ies and truth claims, epistemology, ontology and ethics/ethico-onto-epistemology. Supervises and course manages thesis work.
