Processing of personal data in recruitment

Konstfack (org.no. 2021001199) is the data controller for the processing of the personal data that forms part of your application. Konstfack (University of Arts, Crafts and Design) processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

These rules are hereinafter referred to as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

An application that is received and prepared (registered) is a public document. Anyone who requests access to this document can therefore access your personal data unless confidentiality in accordance with the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (2009:400) prevents this. When appointing senior lecturers and professors, expert opinions are also obtained, which are also public documents.

Participants in the recruitment process as well as union representatives automatically receive access to applicants’ documents via our recruitment system.

Your application, appendices and the e-mails exchanged in the case will be culled (deleted/destroyed) after two years, in accordance with the National Archives’ regulations (RA-FS 2004:1, RA-MS 2005:31). For those who are offered employment, the application, and appendices (including expert opinions) are retained in your personnel file at the HR department. Documents relating to appeals are retained.

If you have questions about data protection, you can always contact the relevant administrator for the case or dataskyddsombud@konstfack.se.
