Konstfack degree works on display at the Museum of Furniture Studies

The exhibition "Ex-Works 2025" presents graduation projects from students at Sweden's five leading design schools at the museum in Älmhult, founded by two Konstfack alumni in 2017.

Ex-Works 2025 offers the opportunity to experience innovative projects created by the new generation, before they break through on a larger scale. The exhibition showcases nearly 60 design and furniture projects by recent graduates from the country's five leading design schools; Konstfack, Malmstens and Beckmans in Stockholm, HDK-Valand in Gothenburg, and HDK-Valand Campus Steneby in Dals Långed.

Ex-Works is a continuation of the previous design student exhibitions shown at the Museum of Furniture Studies (Möbeldesignmuseum) in Stockholm, founded in 2017 by architects and Konstfack alumni Kersti Sandin and Lars Bülow. The museum closed in 2022 and two years later its' collections were acquired by IKEA Älmhult AB, today showcasing over 1300 design objects.

The degree students from Konstfack are from the Bachelors's programme Interior Architecture and Furniture Design and the Master's programme Spatial Design:
