Konstfack ♥ Stockholm Craft Week

10 September 2025

With more program items than ever, Stockholm Craft Week takes over the capital for the seventh year in a row. The event runs from 1st to 5th October – Konstfack students participate in three exhibitions, and the school's alumni in even more.

At Konstfack, the result of a collaboration between the program Jewelry and Corpus: Ädellab and Seafood Gastro, chef Mathias Dahlgren's Michelin one-starred restaurant at the Grand Hôtel, is on display. The students have explored the connection between food, art and objects, and the result is a series of objects for the table inspired by the restaurant's ingredients, dishes and serving methods.

Both alumni and current students from Jewelry and Corpus: Ädellab have also collaborated with students at Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence, and together exhibit jewellery and objects on the theme of "Extra". The exhibition explores concepts such as abundance, consumption, material symbolism and jewellery's ability to enhance the self. This is in an industrial space in Marievik where installations, conversations and other student-led activities take place in parallel with the exhibition.

At the newly opened museum The Cell on Hagaplan, a collaboration between Karolinska Institutet and the Museum of Technology, second-year students in the master's programme Craft present works created based on both the museum's exhibition "Me You We – Exploring human behavior" and selected historical objects from the Museum of Technology.
