Fun course on environmental learning and spatial design to apply for

8 October 2024

Fruitful collaboration between KTH Architecture and Society and Konstfack, the Department of Visual Arts and Sloyd Education (IBIS) will continue during spring of 2025.

The project "A Full Loop" is in its final year. In September, the project, which is a collaboration between KTH-Architektur and Samhällsbyggnad and Konstfack - Department of Visual Arts and Sloyd Education, arranged an international conference at Färgfabriken with 100 participants (Learnings/Unlearnings: Environmental Pedagogies, Play, Policies, and Spatial Design).

Another part of the project has been about creating an independent course that is aimed at students and others interested in architecture, pedagogy, community planning issues in relation to work with children and young people, where we together explore the area that is usually called "environmental learning".

The independent course "Environmental Learning and Spatial Practice with Young People" (7.5 credits) is located at KTH. It is given during VT25 for the third time and collaboration takes place with external actors, including Tensta Art Gallery. Does that sound interesting?
