Disarming the Hypermasculine

Moa-Matilda Nilsson, student from the Master’s programme Craft! Textiles, works with toxic masculinity and exhibits at Liljevalch's Spring Salon.
Among the 163 selected from more than 5,000 applicants for this year's Spring Salon is Moa-Matilda Nilsson, who is in her final year of the Master’s programme in Craft! Textiles.
The jury fell for her two works "Quilt Eastwood" where Mr. Clint takes shape in bright colors and "Crafting Bodies" which deals with bodybuilding. "With humor, I want to disarm the hypermasculine," she says, and welcomes everyone to see them live at the exhibition, which runs until 21 April 2024.
