All lights on contemporary crafts during Stockholm Craft Week
19 September 2024
Sweden’s largest craft manifestation is inaugurated by alumnus and now lecturer Karin Kakan Hermansson and runs 2-6 October.
This year's event is number six in the series and contains hundreds of program items at more than 70 different locations in the Stockholm area where the contemporary craft is shown, discussed and practiced.
Konstfack is richly represented through alumni, teachers and students, for example in the first program point; the seminar Curating Craft: Body As Measure with, among others, Anna Mlasowsky, Anders Ljungberg and matt lambert. With other artists, educators and curators, they discuss craft that have the human body as a starting point and contextual framework.

Continuing the live event "Body As Measure", which explores the presence and role of the body within craft-based practices, Undisciplined connects two emerging jewellery artists: Lovisa Hed (Konstfack alumni) from Sweden and Anna Rusínová from Czechia.
