Konstfack announces its first doctoral positions in mid-August

Konstfack has since 2022 been granted the right to award an artistic doctoral degree. In mid-August 2023 the first four doctoral positions within our own doctoral education in the subject Artistic Practice in Visual, Applied and Spatial Arts will be announced.

Towards Disorder by Anna Lundh, is a dialog between the past and the present that touches upon subjects such as visual synthesis, hamburgers, auditory illusion, clouds, phantom words, virtual social ecologies, FM frequencies, fingertips, feelings, and waffles. The lecture-performance was created for the exhibition Mud Muses - A Rant About Technology, Moderna Museet, 2019.


The four positions will have the following profiles:
• Fine Art: Painting
• Craft: Textiles
• Visual Communication: Illustration/sequential storytelling
• Interior Architecture and Furniture Design: Private and Public Spaces
