During Konstfack Research Week Cecilia Grönberg, our new Professor in Fine Art, will talk about her artistic practice and artistic research as experimentation, investigation, and extra-disciplinarity.
She will address questions of more material, visual forms of knowledge and publishing as a long-term artistic practice in her lecture "Investigative Practices & Material-specific Knowledges".
Cecilia Grönberg is an artist, author, editor and researcher based in Stockholm. Together with Jonas (J) Magnusson she runs OEI, a literary and artistic publishing project. Grönberg & Magnusson’s work on publishing as an artistic practice materializes in books, magazines and exhibitions, and often revolves around questions on archives, images, documents, montage, locality and experimental-material forms of historiography.
She also runs the artistic research projects “The Expanded Book” and “The Latent Image (Uncovering Developing)”. Grönberg & Magnusson’s books include: Leviatan från Göteborg (2002) Omkopplingar (2006); Witz-bomber och foto-sken (2009); Händelsehorisont || Event Horizon: distribuerad fotografi (2016); Bildaktivisterna. Aktioner i bild i svenskt 1960- och 1970-tal (2023).
