Offer – Ester Aurora

An exhibition by Ester Aurora, third-year student at the bachelor's programme in Fine Arts at Konstfack.

Art entails nakedness, even when it is not naked. It is about revealing something private—something that extends beyond one's clothes. Art is not a striptease; it is being flayed of one's skin. All art lays something bare, and in that exposure, one is seen in one's own vulnerability. Art requires a desire to tell something, for art involves sacrifice.

"Offer" explores what lies beneath skin and plumage.
