I spit from my retina – Johanna Kim

Welcome to the MFA solo exhibition "I spit from my retina" by Johanna Kim, master's student in Fine Art.

Johanna Kim (b. 2001) is interested in the idea of the prolonged in-between. Of beginnings, endings as well as the avoidance and consequences that happen through these imaginary actions that take place in the middle. She works with the process and release of emotion through time and continuation.The middle as a transformation, as a reflection of reality in fantasy that could be the deciding factor of what an ending might be or continue into. This exhibition talks from the back of her head, from her eye, from her retina to her mouth until it isn’t only hers anymore.
