Josefina Anjou and Jordana Loeb present a combined solo MFA exhibition, Carbon-14 Dating. The title defines the method for determining the age of any organic material, or rather deciphering for how long any thing that was once alive has been dead. Introducing Josefina’s new series of large horizontal paintings and Jordana’s wooden sculptural and sonic installations.

Josefina Anjou (b. 1993, SE) is foremost a painter whose work as a rule extend the limits of the canvas into its surrounding architecture. Anjou graduated with an BFA from Gerrit Rietveldt Academie, Amsterdam, in 2019 and is now studying for her MFA at Konstfack, Stockholm. She has exhibited in duo- and solo shows at Galerie Fons Welters and Bologna CC in Amsterdam and in group shows in and outside the Netherlands such as Kunstverein (Amsterdam), Intersticio (Madrid), Andy's Gallery (Stockholm) as well as in a number of artist organized group shows.

Jordana Loeb (b. 1987, US) is an artist residing and working in Stockholm since 2012. Loeb activates natural materials such as wood, stone and metal, through movement, performance and sound. Loeb is currently attending the Masters of Fine arts program at Konstfack (2024) and received her BFA with a focus in printmaking from Syracuse University, School of Visual and Performing arts in New York (2009). Loeb has recently exhibited at Konstnarhuset (2021), Galleri Duerr (2022), Silvermuseet in Arjeplog (2023) and performed at Fylkingen in Stockholm (2023).
