Brasa is a collection of 3D-printed lamps made from bioplastic that serves as a powerful reminder of our deep connection to nature and the origins of light from fire. Fire was humanity's first tool for harnessing the forces of nature, and light has played a crucial role in our development. By blending modern 3D-printing technology with ancient wisdom and sustainable practices, Brasa encourages us to reflect on how fire and light have shaped our history and continue to influence the way we live.
As contemporary design increasingly incorporates biodegradable and eco-friendly materials, Brasa invites us to reconsider our relationship with the environment and the resources we use. The lamp stands at the intersection of nature, technology, and culture, reflecting the borders that both separate and unite these realms. It challenges us to explore and transcend these boundaries, promoting a harmonious integration of sustainable innovation within industrial design.
