"Can I blindfold you and use you as a test rabbit? – can you blindfold me, so I can try to feel how you feel?"
In MFA exhibition AnnaLeena Prykäri shows fragments from a Caretakers archive: selected outcomes from the ongoing research. Foundation for the work is in psychological, mental and emotional states.
The selected elements for this exhibition move around power dynamics, connections and control, care taking and role of a Caretaker.
Performance has been used as a method for primary research, where the experience is translated to texts, objects and contemporary performative installations. Various rooms, roles and identities are mixed in a tentative state. It is very much human.
