Master's Degree Programmes

Konstfack's Master's programmes offer challenges! Our two-year Master's programmes offer preparation for careers or research and lead to the award of a Master's  degree in Fine Arts (120 credits).

1 December 2023: Application opens

15 January 2024: Deadline to apply (at universityadmissions.se) and to upload applicant assignment (to konstfack.se).

When applying to Konstfack you submit an online application to the Swedish central application website www.universityadmissions.se and upload qualifications to support the entry requirements to universityadmissions.se (or send them by post to University Admissions in Sweden, R 312, 106 53 Stockholm, Sweden). Note that the instructions may vary depending on which country your academic qualifications were issued from. It's important that you follow the detailed instructions at universityadmissions.se.

You will also need to upload the applicant assignment electronically via Konstfack's homepage (konstfack.se). The applicant assigment is used in the selection between eligible applicants.

Please note that it is very important that you upload the applicant assignment directly to Konstfack's homepage according to the instructions. Assignments uploaded to universityadmissions.se will not be processed.

Bachelor's Degree Programs

In the three-year undergraduate level (for the Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts) you can choose between seven different programs. Each student has access to an individual workspace, a computer lab and fully-equipped studios and workshops. The Bachelor's degree programs are taught in Swedish and require proficiency in Swedish or another Scandinavian language. Therefore, the application instructions are published in Swedish only at www.konstfack.se/utbildning.


Teacher Education

The teaching at the Teacher Education programs is in Swedish, and is aimed at the Swedish school system. It is therefore a prerequisite that you have a mastery of Swedish or another Scandinavian language in order to follow the courses program. Therefore, the application instructions are published in Swedish only at www.konstfack.se/utbildning.


Exchange students

Deadlines for applications to study one semester at Konstfack (exchange students from other schools) are May 1 for the fall semester and October 15 for the spring semester. Read more about International Exchange here.
