Domestic Commons
Interiors and their furniture generate atmospheres and moods. Often welcomingly meant to enhance creativity, individual or brand uniqueness, efficiency, personality and cooperation. Sometimes they are used to express power, borders and hierarchies. The importance of furnished environments has in this exhibition been highlighted by eleven students from the Bachelor's programme in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design – which this year – hosts more students than ever.

In order to furnish a space to generate feelings, creators have to understand the needs and relations for whom they design. And more over, what kind of relations can be encouraged – or discouraged – in the atmospheres we produce? Domestic Commons gives you some suggestions. Enjoy!
