Congratulations Maja Frögård, now a PhD in Design!

On 15 October, Maja Frögård successfully defended her doctoral thesis, "Negotiating Tensions – Designers' responsibilities in democratic entanglements". The opponent at the public defence was Erling Björgvinsson, Professor of design at HDK, University of Gothenburg.

Maja has participated in the KTD programme (art, technology and design), a collaborative doctoral programme established between Konstfack and The Royal Institute of Technology, KTH.

The appointed grading committee consisted of Research Fellow Andrea Botero Cabrera, Aalto University, Associate Professor Maria Göransdotter, Umeå Institute of Design/Umeå University and Professor Leif Dahlberg, KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
