Konstfack student awarded with the Global Swede Diploma

Hsiao Yuan Huang, student at the master's programme in Design - Individual Study Plan in Design, was one of 26 international university students from different countries to receive the Global Swede Diploma.

Global Swede is part of the Swedish govenment's the Swedish Institute's work building a long-term relationship with international students in Sweden. It aims at creating bridges of a transnational and multicultural network that contributes to Swedish trade in the long term and works to find solutions for the future.

The motivation for awarding her this honour reads as follows:
"Hsiao Yuan Huang is nominated for her excellent academic results, her perseverance for innovation, and high level of creativity and entrepreneurship in her endeavors. As an already successful entrepreneur, her work will undoubtedly spread through her international network and across social media, making her a good ambassador for Konstfack and Sweden due to the quality of her work, as well as her motivation and commitment to design artefacts for the social and psychological wellbeing of people."

On Tuesday 21 May the Global Swede Diploma ceremony (arranged by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in co-operation with the Swedish Institute) was held for the 9th consecutive year.
