In this exhibition, by presenting a combination between film and performance within the setting of the installation, I attempt to put an emphasis on the relationship between dance, film and archetypes to put light on the question and problematics of cultural miscommunication and belonging. I have used the myth of “Roshanak” as the symbol for the eastern seducing woman, who later on became the empress of Greece using his dance as is inscribed in the pages of history. She is the daughter of Oxyartes (the last governor of Bactria and Sogdia), who had surrendered to the enemy's army during the raid on Iran.
