PERFORMANCE • A taco for two
As a part of Stockholm Craft Week 2021, you are invited to TACO FOR TWO, a one-to-one video performance that questions ideas around tradition, culture and national identity through the act of eating a taco.

A taco is a known and popular dish part of modern Swedish culture with origins in México.
Is the Swedish taco a real taco?
Is it the Mexican?

To join the performance registration is required: berenicejanice@gmail.com

Note: Participants are committed to eat a taco in silence. All ingredients have been carefully selected and prepared in collaboration with multidisciplinary designer Olga Olivares. Tacos will be gluten free and vegan.

EXHIBITION • Foundations of places
Welcome to an exhibition showcasing sculptures made of porcelain, glass, wire and corn. The fragility and ephemeral character of Hernandez's works represents her idea of spaces, their foundations and the power they can hold over society and the individual.

It will be lovely to see you there!

Berenice Hernandez works with sculptures, video, photography and performance. In her work she focuses on the importance of spaces, their foundations and the potential power they have over our society and the individual. Berenice holds a Bachelor degree in ceramics from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. She is currently completing her Master studies at Konstfack, Stockholm.
