Anne Low is an artist based in Vancouver, Canada. Low engages with the history of textiles and the artist’s role in upholding unique orders of knowledge embedded within these traditional practices. Her work speaks to wider narratives around the impulse to individuate surface, object and self.

Low will give an artist talk about her work and research strategies in relation to weaving and historical craft methodologies. She will also discuss her new work currently in production in Stockholm that will be presented at the Folkets Hus in Sorunda in April.

Low is participating in the exhibition "Snart nog: Konst och Handling" at Tensta Konsthall. Low will also be one of this years opponents for the CRAFT Master examinations.
