Welcome to a socially beneficial exhibition with state-of-the-art craftsmanship featuring Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design, Malmstens Linköping University and Rum Magazine.

After three years of bachelor studies in interior architecture and furniture studies the students from Konstfack and Malmstens in Sweden are ready to show how they have learned to expand the territories of these disciplines. “We are constantly looking for space and objects that can be changed and transformed in a more suitable way. For us, it is both a question of self-expression and being a tool for helpful design,” says one student who will participate in the exhibition at the beautiful monastery Chiostro Delle Umiliate. This is the meeting point for everyone who loves design and architecture!

Come join us, read and get amazed every evening in the enchanted courtyard of this 14th century monastery every evening from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Visitors will have the chance to attend Rum Magazine’s workshop “Design Communication and Media” on the 19th of April at 5:30 p.m., or purchase a copy of Rum’s bookazine Past, Present, Future – Swedish Architecture and Design During the Past and Coming 20 Years.
