A Open School lecture on collective identity and working towards a common cause. The lecturers' individual experiences are woven together to create stories about the collective as a political and artistic practice.

Mariana Alves Silva is a designer, wood craftsperson and researcher, working among others with the group MYCKET, which aims to examine and alter the way aesthetic expressions affects human activities based on intersectional, anti-racist and queer feminist perspectives. Currently MYCKET is in the final stages of a research project on the queer / lesbian / feminist (night)club as a vital space for activist growth.

Alexandra Falagara runs BASTION with Brita Lindvall Leitmann, a studio, a network and an artistic research project. They research into how identity, norms and boundaries are formed and reproduced by visual culture and explores ways in which one can apply norm critical theory in design practice.

Open School is a sporadic lecture, workshop and seminar series organised by the Visual Communication/Graphic Design & Illustration programmes at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design.
