Friday the 28th september is advertised as Researchers' Night of the EU Commission. Across Europe offers hundreds of activities that will demonstrate how exciting and fun research.

The target audience is the general public, especially children and youth. The events will include experiments, workshops, hands-on activities, science shows, exhibitions, science cafe's and many other opportunities to meet scientists.
As a representative from Konstfack, Linda Shamma Östrand will give a presentation about my research together with researchers from the Karolinska Institute (KI), Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Stockholm University(SU). The lectures will be held on the Main Stage at 14.30. Other representatives from Konstfack is Martha Johansson and Lina El Yafi who will present their work at the site during the day.
Researchers' Night was first held in 2005 throughout Europe and a number of locations in Sweden. Since 2006, the Swedish play tied together under the common name ForskarFredag and coordinated by Association Science & the Public (Vetenskap & Allmänhet, VA) From 2012 also includes races in Research Grand Prix/Forskar Grand prix as part of the Research Friday at a number of locations. Arrangements are supported financially by the European Commission (EU-kommissionen), the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet) , and VINNOVA and locally by many more sponsors and co-organizers.
