EDG at World Design Summer Camp

The Experience Design Group has been invited to participate in the World Design Summer Camp sponsored by the Hong Kong Design Center. EDG faculty member Martin Avila will lead four EDG students to Hong Kong.

The selected students are Pomme Van Hoof, Friðrik Steinn Friðriksson, Laura Chifiriuc, and Sara Tunheden. Martin will lead seminars there as a visiting member of the World Design Summer Camp faculty. 200 students from the most influential design schools around the globe have been invited.

Professor Ronald Jones of The Experience Design Group will be able to welcome Martin and the EDG students to Hong Kong because he has been invited to speak at the select Closed Door Future of Design Education Conference in Hong Kong sponsored by the Hong Kong Design Center, which takes place on June 27 and 28. Twelve design education thought leaders from around the world have been invited to this closed-door think tank.
