Lingam

LINGAM
In south-east Asia the LINGAM is used as a fertility symbol. LINGAMs are worshiped in temples. The phallus has a more open meaning than soley sex. The western society relate LINGAMs only to sexuality, while this exhibition esents more than 100 international well known artists that have created a present day fertility object.
The LINGAMs are presented on pedestals made by the students from the Adellab department at Konstfack.
