Parasto Backman awarded by AWDA and Printlovers

The jury's motivation:
"For the relevance of the printed book as an object, not only vehicle of information but also of sensory emotions, and for the care given to every detail of the project: expressive use of colour, typography, pattern, binding, right down to the cover enhancements. The aesthetics of the project and the care taken in its realisation do not come at the expense of "machinability" and therefore reproducibility; they are also consistent with the values of the client, an institution that stimulates the creation of quality publishing products."
