June 1, 2012
Maria Lantz is Konstfack's new president from June 1, 2012.
How is your first day as president of Konstfack?
Great, busy and diverse. And above all, I feel welcome.
In short, what have you done before?
Most recently, I was the pro-vice-chancellor at the Royal Institute of Art, where I also was a lecturer. Previously I have been a editor, art critic, committee member, waitress and test tube dishwasher.
What do you think you will bring to Konstfack?
I hope to be a diplomat for art, design, craft and pedagogics with the mission to look after Konstfack's specific character when it comes to the passion for creativity, innovation and criticism.
What do you think Konstfack will give you?
I will grapple with many difficult questions, but I hope to have fun.
